Upazila Parishad

Formation of council-

(1) Chairman;

(2) two vice-chairmen, one of whom shall be a woman;

(3) the chairman of each union parishad in the upazila area or the person acting as the chairman temporarily;

(4) every municipality in the area of the upazila, if any, its mayor or person acting as its chairman temporarily; And

(5) Female members of reserved seats (elected by the council).

Employees: - 1. Sixty seal-cum-computer operators - 1 person.

2. Jeep driver - 1 person.

3. M, L, S, S - 2 people.
