Language and culture
After the Wari Bateshwar civilization, some followers of Ramchandra of Ayodhya settled in Raipur area along with human beings. Then Chandiraja settled in Chandipara.
It is said that Krishna's followers settled in Krishnapur.

 

Monohardi is a place of refuge for the non-Aryans distributed by the Aryans in different parts of the Indian subcontinent.
The culture developed here is based on Rama, Krishna and Vedic culture.

When Chandi was defeated by King Shahiran, the Muslim religion flourished here. Later, the culture of Muslim renaissance was introduced through Maulana Keramat Ali and Haji Shariat Ullah of Jainpur.
